Imagine teeing off from Ballater's 1st - surrounded by the stunning Eastern Cairngorm mountains and encircled by the River Dee.  Or perhaps to Braemar and the highest course in the UK.  Or even to the wonderful 9 hole course in Tarland designed by Tom Morris in 1908.  Golfing in Aberdeenshire is a real pleasure but challenging too with the weather ready at any moment to make sure every round is different.

Near the The Gordon we have 18 hole courses at Ballater, Braemar and Aboyne, while there are 9 hole courses at Lumphanan and Tarland.  The 9 hole course at Balmoral is also now able to be booked from 2024.

For those with a more competetive streak there is the Ballater Golf Week (May) and the Stableford Royal Deeside Golf Week (July) along with a whole range of opens and scrambles for mixed, ladies and mens golfers.
